Xevin Investments supports polish scientists – establishment of an Interactive Research Center
On March 1st, 2010 under an agreement with Xevin Investments research project Wyszukali.pl was transformed company Interactive Research Center (IRCenter.com).
This project, created by a group young polish scientists, executes research based on semantic Web crawling, a unique method that tracks changes and trends on web sites.
The data collected using semantic crawling allows for a very accurate analysis of users’ opinions about brands, products, celebrities or social phenomenon. The tools and data analysis algorithms used create an unbiased picture, something that is not currently possible using traditional survey technology. Bearing in mind that the internet is vital as a marketing channel, it is hard to imagine marketing departments without access to actual and precise data regarding users’ opinions.
The core team members of the Interactive Research Center are the original founders and inventors of Wyszukali.pl project:
Albert Hupa – graduate from University Of Warsaw – Institute Of Applied Social Sciences. Sociologist interested in social networks and natural language processing.
Marcin Krzosek – graduate from University Of Warsaw – Institute Of Political Sciences, but interested rather in new technologies and their applications in business.
Mariusz Karbowski – PH. D. student in Warsaw School of Social Sciences and Humanities and Institute Of Psychology of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Interested in dynamic social networks in terms of psychological aspects of leadership and in research about innovators’ society in internet.
Tomasz Kaszuba – graduate from Polish-Japanese Institute of Information Technology, assistant in Department of Computer Networks. His scientific interests lie in loyalty programs, trust management and distributed computing.
Xevin Investments will not only finance development of these amazing research tools, but will also support the company in the areas of know-how necessary to run company, and help promote and sell products.
